Think Bigger
We’ve been going through the goals for our various companies: 1-year, 3-year, 10-year, and we had a bit of an a-ha moment in looking at our 10-year goal. And that was that we’re not thinking big enough. In thinking through what we know can be accomplished, it was so much bigger than what we had documented.
So here’s my question for you: Are you thinking big enough? Are you dreaming big enough?
Or are you going with the flow? Maybe you’ve got a great day job. You’re somewhat comfortable in your day-to-day. But don’t let that turn into complacency!
If you can dream it/comprehend it, then you can absolutely accomplish it. Let that sink in.
And think about our program, Land Deals Revealed. Think about the paydays that can be accomplished through our program. 5, 6, 7-figure paydays. How would your mindset change if you added 6 figures to your income?
So think about pushing yourself and thinking bigger than you’re currently thinking.

Entrepreneurial Risk
So today I wanted to talk about RISK.
And more specifically, entrepreneurial risk.
If you look up articles on the common traits of an entrepreneur, you’ll find that pretty much all of them agree that a common trait of a true entrepreneur is that they’re risk takers. Part of being an entrepreneur is having a healthy appetite for uncertainty and the ability to realize that even if the results aren’t perfect the first time around, it’s ok to take the chance and see what happens.
But there are different kinds of risks.
There’s the break-neck risk of leaving the security of your 9-5 job and dedicating yourself 100% to your dream project.
On a smaller scale, there’s a risk of failure.
Also, each industry has its own inherent risks.
For a real estate agent, there’s always a risk that your buyer or seller might back out of a deal and you lose your commission.
As for the fix and flipper, there’s always a risk that you’ll find major issues with the home, once you start with your repairs.
As a 9-5 employee, there’s always the risk that you’ll get to the end of your career and not have much to show for it. Maybe you lived a comfortable life all those years, but you weren’t ever able to save for retirement.
In my industry, residential land development, hands down the biggest risk comes in financing the purchase of raw land and constructing a subdivision.
And that’s what gets me so excited about our program, Land Deals Revealed. Our program is based off of a business model that we’ve been practicing for almost 2 decades. And what I love about it is that it allows us to stay in the driver's seat and control our risk level. With our model, we can still make amazing 5 to 7 figure returns, but we’re avoiding the big risk of actually purchasing the land.

Freedom and Entrepreneurship
People who are drawn to becoming entrepreneurs – wanting to start their own business, be their own boss, run their own show – all have their own reasons and motivations. But one common motivator they almost all have in common… FREEDOM.
Everyone wants freedom. But freedom isn’t the same for everyone. For one person, it may be the ability to disconnect from the world for 6 months and then come back and pick up again.
For me personally, a few examples of freedom are:
Being able to have a long lunch with my wife anytime I want.
Being able to surprise my kids for lunch at the school cafeteria.
Being able to travel and conduct my business from anywhere. The land business is particularly conducive to freedom. I can target any market in the US. I don’t have to LIVE in the market. So that gives me the freedom to live anywhere I want.
What is freedom to you? Let us know in the comments.
And if you want the type of freedom I have, get started by watching our training video to see how we do what we do -> vestright.com/action.
Until next time!!

Love What You Do
If you asked me why I love putting together land deals, I’d respond by asking you how much time you have.
For me, the list is so long. The financial reward is just the tip of the iceberg. There’s freedom, fulfillment, excitement, challenge… it goes on and on.
What a blessing to have been running a business for the past almost 2 decades that revolves around my passion. What a blessing to love what I do.
And that’s exactly why we created VestRight – to share our passion with you. This is your opportunity to start your own business around your love for real estate.

13,000 Feet of Fear
I took my daughter skydiving for her 18th birthday. What a fantastic experience!!
In talking with some of the instructors, they said that they hear people all the time saying that they would love to go skydiving some day, but in reality, most never do it. Most are held back by fear.
I’ve talked about fear before. And it’s so much more than just skydiving. Fear holds people back constantly.
In my life, most of the fulfilling, rewarding, growth moments have always been on the other side of pushing through fear.
So an encouragement for you today: remember that the most amazing things in life often come on the other side of fear. And make sure you have people around you that are on board with your vision and who are an encouragement, not a deterrent, to you making your jumps of faith.
